Hey, I’m Eliza! I’m a London-based graphic designer with a practice rooted in branding, typography, editorial design, and print. I’m particularly interested in research-led visual systems and experimenting with how typography and layout can shape visual identity across both digital and physical formats.

My work often combines structured design systems with experimentation through print, photography and type, allowing me to explore graphic design across a range of contemporary media and formats.

Overgrowth

Overgrowth explores the relationship between organic growth and the built environment through photography, image extraction and editorial design. Focusing on moments where vegetation disrupts urban structures, the project documents how natural forms exist within controlled architectural spaces.

The final outcome takes the form of a gallery-style publication featuring original photography, abstracted image extractions, and documentation of accompanying large-format poster designs produced through both inkjet and UV printing.

Designed for Her

This project examines how advertising has shaped ideas of femininity from the 1950s to today, tracing the recurring visual strategies used to target women as consumers. Through a curated mix of vintage and contemporary ads, the publication highlights how colour, typography, composition, and tone have been used to construct shifting yet persistent notions of womanhood. The catalogue’s restrained contemporary layout is designed to emphasise these visual patterns and contrasts, encouraging viewers to critically reflect on how femininity continues to be packaged and sold across time.

Hyper-Type

Hyper-Type is a visual identity project developed for a fictional typography conference hosted at the Design Museum, London. Inspired by the museum’s architectural structure and geometric forms, the project explores typography as a modular system that can adapt across print, motion, and digital formats.

The final outcomes include posters, billboard designs, motion graphics, a web application, and a social media campaign, all connected through a flexible H–T identity system developed from architectural research and typographic experimentation.
