This project explores personal identity through a series of abstract motion graphics, with each animation representing a different part of who I am. Using symbolic shapes, movement, colour, and atmosphere, I translated personal experiences and emotions into visual narratives rather than literal storytelling. The project became a space for experimentation within motion design, allowing me to explore abstraction, symbolism, and new technical skills across After Effects, 3D tools, and animation techniques.
Element 1 – Eldest
A motion piece exploring responsibility, protection, and family connection through abstract circular forms and symbolic movement.
Element 2 – Faith
An atmospheric animation using light, glow, and soft geometric forms to represent clarity, peace, and my emotional connection to faith.
Element 3 – Cultural Duality/Two Worlds
A symbolic animation reflecting the experience of balancing two cultures through contrasting colours, geometric systems, and themes of fitting in and identity.
